Grant Park is another great park for dogs. This is more for the East Side Hipsters. Don't fo
rget your skinny jeans and Pabst Blue Ribbon. It really doesn't have a designated area for dogs. It seems like the locals have picked out a flat grassy area for dogs to run free. The only thing you have to worry about is dog running away. There is no fence to keep them safe. Other than that, its a great place to roam free.

In 2010 the CHNA raised funds to start the only Downtown Atlanta off-leash dog park, thanks in large part to the 2-acre parcel donation by land owner Jerry Miller. Recent additions, such as benches are thanks to Besharat Gallery. The park combines our creative talents — from diversion of water from the roof of a nearby building (no future H2O bills) to wood chips donated by Georgia Power and provision for ornamental fencing as a gateway, designed by Castleberry Hill artists.
