Parks and Recreation

Piedmont Park is great for dogs. They just built a brand new dog park that is open to all dogs. It conveniently has a caged in area for small dogs and a seperate area for large dogs. They also provide dog bowls that will help you keep you hydrated. If you forget the doggy bags, don't worry there are some provided. Benches are provided for humans and they will love the interaction with other people. In my opinion this is one of the best dog parks in Atlanta.

Grant Park is another great park for dogs. This is more for the East Side Hipsters. Don't fo
rget your skinny jeans and Pabst Blue Ribbon. It really doesn't have a designated area for dogs. It seems like the locals have picked out a flat grassy area for dogs to run free. The only thing you have to worry about is dog running away. There is no fence to keep them safe. Other than that, its a great place to roam free.
